We've had an interesting week to say the least! A team called the Harlem Crowns came to Taber (they're kind of like the Globetrotters, but not as high class???) Andy got asked to play against them on the Rebels Alumni team. It was so fun to watch Andy get razzed a little and get his bum pinched, pants pulled down, dunked on, etc. etc... a good night! Here's the best picture I took of Andy, anybody want to donate to the Evanson new camera fund? It's about time we upgrade. I hate every picture it takes, not the subjects just the quality, bruuuutal.
Aubrey had what you would call a 'bad day' yesterday! First she was over at my Dad and Dix's house and ran right into the corner of the fridge (that's the purple bump on the top right of her forhead in this picture) then later on that same day she was outside playing with Will and a bunch of our neighbor kids and they brought her to our door bawling and looking like this.
Now this is one part of being a mom that I love. I love blood, I know weird. I revel in it. If my kid gets hurt I love playing nurse, I should have been a nurse (maybe I still will one day), in a trauma room. That's how much I love blood. Anyways I cleaned her up and tried to get it to stop the best a could. I noticed though that the cut was quite large and that if I just put a bandaid on it, it'd become a pretty big scar. So I zipped her over to the clinic and they glued that baby shut. Hopefully she won't have that big of a mark. And if she does I guess it's just the first of many little scars and scratches she'll get in her life!
Feeling better earlier this morning! or maybe Aubrey is just so happy because of the fact that she's going to become a big sister in less then 24 hours!! We have to be at the hospital tomorrow morning bright and early and we get to FINALLY FINALLY meet the newest member of our family! EEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! I'm so excited!
