We had so much fun this Easter Break! Andy had the whole week off (one of the perks of his job). We mostly just hung out at home, but on the weekend we decided to surprise Will and Aubrey and take them to Medicine Hat. Medicine Hat is their Mecca, I don't know why they love it so much, but it holds a special place in their tiny little hearts.
So we planned for Saturday, we packed up their swimming bag secretly and then went to clean the church in the morning. After we got done we headed out to Med. Hat. Andy and I decided that we wouldn't tell the kids where we were going until they asked, FINALLY about half way there Will pipped up and asked, "Is this the way to Lethbridge?" we said "no, this is the way to MEDICINE HAT!!!" Will almost lost it! He was so excited, it was hilarious. Aubrey screamed, "I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!"
We had our first 5 guys burgers and fries experience for lunch and it was pretty dang good!
Then we went to the mall. They had free face painting, can you guess what Will wanted?
Then we went swimming! Well, Penny and I watched, but everybody else went swimming.

When we were at the pool this lady kept walking by and we kept looking at each other, we knew that we knew each other from somewhere. She finally came up to me and said, "You're Inga's sister right?!?" She is Inga's husbands cousin, we met at a wedding shower once. It was just funny, I hear that alot. I think I do not look anything like Inga at all, but I guess alot of people do. I don't mind though Inga is hot!

It was a long day.

The shark shoes. When Will saw me blogging this morning he asked if I could take a picture of them and write about his shark shoes. We found these at the mall, Will saw them and started ripping off his other shoes in the hallway. He wanted to try them on SO BAD! They didn't have his size, we'd never seen Will so in love with a pair of shoes. So we bought them for him anyways with the thought that we could save them and he'd grow into them. WRONG. There was no waiting for Will, they are at least 2 sizes too big and he wears them constantly. He wore them out of the store, he wore them to bed that night and he wore them to church the next day. In primary he stood up and made everyone look at his shoes. Every day he asks to wear them, the second he wakes up. Well they are pretty cool!!!

He LOVES 'em!!!
