update
I just thought I'd write a little about Will's curing calamities! This morning we went to the doctor to get Will's arm checked and he said it's looking great!! That made me feel pretty good about myself since I have been changing his dressings at home now for a few days. So in a couple more days the bandages can come off and Will can be "sans" power arm. I don't know how he'll adjust, he's taken quite a liking to it! He can do all of the normal things he used to do, He is going to freak to know that we can go swimming again!!! I am glad about that too, I never pass up a chance to show off my hot bod at the pool... Tomorrow is Will's consult with the sleep dentist and so we'll see what happens from that.
We had a good day yesterday, no accidents, which I am grateful for! Andrew and I both spoke in church, it was my 6th time speaking in a period of 3 years, hopefully I won't be asked again for awhile, it's not like I hate talking in church, I actually like it alot, it's just that I need a talk break. I talk in real life enough! After church we (Will, Aubrey and I) went to Dad's house for a belated Father's Day Feast. Andrew couldn't come, he had to work! It was really fun. It was such a nice night and the kids were running around playing and having a blast, it was a token family moment for me. I have good memories of Dad's backyard. Some of my first are of playing back there and it will always be a special place for me because Andy and I had our wedding reception in the back yard! It was a nice time, I'm glad we were there.
Today after the doctor's appointment the kids and I went to the park close to our house, I took a couple pictures and then we basically left, we stayed for a whole 5 minutes. It was just gross there today, there was a broken vodka bottle, the ground and rocks were all wet, plus a giant dump from I don't know what right in the middle of the playground. Disgusting. Will is in the stage of "no pictures" he won't hold still for a second and when anyone wants to take his picture he says" no" and runs away! I tried to get a couple good ones, but alas...

Will's Worst...
Will is accident prone, we have decided. He has been having some bad luck lately and more to come. Just recently we had to take him to the hospital, he had a fever of 41 degrees celcius, a barking cough and a swelling lip. He got over that, but his lip keeps swelling once in a while. 2 days ago I had just finished mowing the lawn and he tripped right onto the lawn mower! It was extremely HOT and he got a 2nd degree burn up his whole arm, from wrist to pit. We rushed him to emergency and they put some cream on his arm and wrapped it up in bandages. Will was so brave, I couldn't believe how well he handled everything. The only time he'd cry was when he'd look over at his arm, and then he'd say "MOM, MY ARM, IT'S SKINNING!!!" The burn was so bad that his skin just melted right off of his poor little arm and was hanging there. Gross. Now he has to go back to the hospital every morning for a week to 10 days to change the dressing and get his arm checked. We also noticed that his gums had started swelling a few days before his burn, so we made him a dentist appointment that he had to go to yesterday. Turns out Will has a gum infection so he was put on antibiotics and the teeth we thought were just crooked are actually extra teeth and suprise suprise, they need to be pulled out. So we have a consult next week with a sleep dentist. And then possibly soon after that Will gets to be knocked out and have his teeth ripped out. Why is this happening?!?!?! At least Will get's to have an "Iverson Arm" now. Here's a couple pictures of Will sleeping right after we got back from the hospital... Pray for Will, he needs it!!!

I got a new room...
It's been a big week for Aubrey! I finally finished decorating her room ( I just have to hang up the chandelier, but am too scared because I think I'll electrocute myself) and Aubrey has started to crawl!! I can't believe that in only 4 more months she'll be 1 year old! Where does the time go? She was only just a tiny peanut, now she's practically a woman!!! Here are some pictures of the new room, unfortunatly I have no before shots. So now you can't compare the new room to anything, trust me it looks way better!!! Aubrey also can stand up in her crib now and as you can see from the pictures she is REALLY proud of herself.
We are happy that the pool is finally open in Taber and have been spending lots and lots of time there. If you can't find us at home, go to the pool, we'll be there. We have had a good last couple of weeks, Andy has been working alot but such is life. The kids and I have been doing lots of things, riding bikes, playing outside, going to visit the "mini" horses in Barnwell, playing at the park , etc. etc. Just last week we went to Barnwell for the Grand Re-opening of the Library there. They had a special little ceremony and honoured Grandma Doreen for her vision of a Library for the people in Barnwell. I forgot my camera but it was really nice. They put a little picture of Grandma D on the wall. I was talking with her yesterday and she said even though she made a big fuss about going, she actually had fun. Oh Grandma. It was very deserving and I was proud of her!
