The day has come, Aubrey is 2! Where did those years go?
On this day 2 years ago I was at the hospital pre-registering for my planned c-section that was to take place on October 1. In the morning I woke up and had a couple contractions so I told the nurses at the hospital when I was there, they monitored me and said not to worry and go home. Well by the time I got back home I was in full blown labour and had NOTHING ready for the hospital, Andy was at work and I was trying to get supper ready for Will. So in the midst of bag packing, phoning Andy and dinner we HAD to leave. NOW.
We made it just in time to the hospital and Aubrey Nena Blythe Evanson was born at 11:48pm, weighing in at 6lbs and 18 inches long. She was so tiny and she still is so tiny.
Aubrey is so special. We feel so happy to have a little girl in our family and we love her WAY too much!
This is what we love about Aubba...
If you go into her room at night and she's not asleep, she pretends to be and "snores".
She loves babies, a little too much sometimes, she'll be a good babysitter one day.
We asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she said "oatmeal".
She's just little!
Aubrey has LOTS of personality.
Aubrey is SPUNKY.
Aubrey prays at breakfast time every morning for her food, it's hilarious.
She is a good little sister to Will.
Aubrey LOVES pink. Anything pink she wants it.
Aubrey jumps off everything, counters, couches, chairs...
She gets so grubby at the park, she literally rolls in the gravel.
If you go on a WALK with Aubrey it's more like a RUN. She's fast!
