poopsicles/cookies/baby

Yes, I wrote "poopsicles" only because it makes Will SO very mad when I call them that. I love bugging my kids, it really doesn't get any better. So we've been having a chill time around the nest lately. Inga and Aaron had a a baby boy, well Inga had the baby to be more exact. It's medically impossible for a man to birth a child FYI. Unless you are THIS "GUY". And still it's complicated, I wonder on a scale from 1 to 10 how awkward Oprah felt doing that move...

Anyways.... His name is Cru Gregory Paul Edlund 9lbs 3 oz, 21 inches. I love babies. I want a baby, please send me yours... Aubrey loves Cru so much , when we went to the hospital she wanted to hold him and rub his belly and kiss his face, poor Cru, you are in for a life of kisses, loves and slightly too hard pats from Aubrey. Sorry in advance.

Andy and I are getting really excited for our trip to Las Vegas coming up in 9 days! Yipee!! Oh and yesterday we went to my friend Sandy's wedding! It was awesome, and she looked unbelievably pretty. I, of course brought my camera but didn't take any pictures, IDIOT! A couple days ago my friend Tabitha came to visit me too, she was in the wedding party. I love you TABBY! I always have so much fun with you! and I miss you! Move back to Taber, I beg of you!!!! So this weekend was great, I got to see 2 of my goodest friends and go on a date with Andrew and eat good food. Also Happy Fathers Day to all of the Dad's out there!!!

writing-on-stone

We went to Writing -on- Stone today. It was lots of fun! We hiked EVERYWHERE.

"HOODOO" you see?

Hiking...

It's the circle, the circle of life....

The "bathtub", the kids really thought they had to have a bath, that's why they aren't too happy.

We'll definitely be making a trip back this summer to do some camping. Go. You'll love it.

the happs...

We've had a busy life lately, I love it!

First thing to report was the magic and wonder which is the Taber Parade...if I blog about going next year please send me some anthrax in the mail, please.

After the parade we spent the afternoon at Granny Myra's eating, suprise suprise!! It was so fun to hang out with friends and family, above is a cute picture of Will and Aubba with all of their Evanson cousins, aren't they all just the cutest?!

2nd on the docket (that is a laywer show word...) is we went for walks, lots of walks, Taber has great trails all around and they are building new ones as I type, maybe the trails are so good to make up for the parades here... Anywho... walks are fun they let me leave my house, let my kids run off some steam and help me to become skinny. I heart walks.

We had friends over... now it looks like in these pictures the friends are not having that awesome of a time,
Will is laughing about something and poor Austin is not loving that and below Aubba is totally stealing a drink of Macy's juice box, sorry Baby M. next time you can have a whole one to your chunky widdle self, PROMISE!
                                                                      She was just SO thirsty!

... and this last one is just to make you laugh, it made me, and we do alot of that too in our busy little house and our busy little life. ENJOY!

let's go fly a kite...

This morning we were hanging out in the living room and all of a sudden Will wandered over to the window and got SO excited! He said he wanted to go outside RIGHT NOW! We didn't get why until we looked out the window ourselves and saw kites! everywhere! Will said, " Get my Chuck Taylors and stroller and let's GO! Hurry!!" Since moving here we see have seen this one guy flying a huge kite right behind the RCMP station by our house. We've always wondered who this mystery kite flyer was, and today we finally met him and his wife and kids and found out that they live just down the road from us! So anyways we walked across the street to a big field and there were a whole bunch of kite enthusiasts doing what they do best. It was so much fun!!! We don't have a kite of our own and we didn't bring any money to buy one, so the kind kite man let us borrow a big pink elephant. I love flying kites, I think I might have to join his club one day. There were some really cool kites, it wasn't too windy when we were there so I didn't get any shots of the good ones since they were on the ground. There was this HUGE gecko, and a big rainbow one and a white flowing one that looked like Zero from the Nightmare Before Christmas. What a good way to start off the day!

Taber Policemans' Ball 2009

We had SO much fun at the ball this year. It was a big and important one, since the Police Chief is retiring and a new one is hired! There was a delicious dinner, LOTS of speeches and presentations for the outgoing chief and then the dancing started!! I love dancing so much that when 12 o'clock rolled around and we were supposed to go home I dropped Andy off to relieve mom from babysitting and went back for some more! I danced until 1:30 am. My feet HURT! Dancing in 4 '' heels is not good for your feet I have discovered! Andy and I won a set of kitchen cannisters and a gift certificate for pizza from the raffle, I was hoping for the barbeque but not this year I guess... DANG IT.
